UNDER THE SKIN, starring Scarlett Johansson and directed by Jonathan Glazer, is now in post-production in London.

Glazer’s third film following Sexy Beast and Birth, UNDER THE SKIN is the story of an alien in human form. Part road movie, part science fiction, part real, it’s a film about seeing our world through alien eyes.

Filming wrapped in London earlier this year, following extensive location shooting in Scotland.

Glazer and Walter Campbell wrote the screenplay.  Producers are James Wilson (JW Films) and Nick Wechsler (Nick Wechsler Productions).

Executive Producers are Tessa Ross for Film4, Reno Antoniades for Lee and Thompson, Claudia Blümhuber and Uwe R. Feuersenger for Silver Reel, and Walter Campbell.  Co-Producer is Alexander O’Neal. The film is based on a novel by Michel Faber.

Originally developed by Film4 and further developed by UK Film Council, Tessa Ross is overseeing production for Film4 and Chris Collins is lead Senior Executive for BFI Film Fund following initial support from Tanya Seghatchian. Robbie Allen supervises for Creative Scotland and Gillian Berrie co-produces for Sigma Films.  Ian Hutchinson negotiated the deal for Silver Reel.

Chris Donnelly represented Glazer for WME, with Duncan Heath at Independent Talent.  Jim Toth at CAA and Rick Yorn at LBI Entertainment represented Johansson.

UNDER THE SKIN is a Film4 and BFI presentation, in association with Silver Reel, Creative Scotland and FilmNation Entertainment.

UNDER THE SKIN will be released in the UK by STUDIO CANAL.
