Movie Review: “Sherlock Holmes : A Game of Shadows”

For those who didn’t watch Sherlock Holmes – Game of Shadows yet, what are you waiting for?  You’re missing on an entertaining movie that’s definitely worth watching! I missed the press screening last week so I only watched it yesterday. The movie is still screening and after 2 weeks from its release it’s still assembling a fully booked up theater!

Starring Robert Downey(Sherlock), Jude Law(Dr. Watson) and Jared Harris (Professor Moriarty) Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin. Once again, Sherlock saves the world, only this time his adventure with Dr. Watson pursues the criminal mastermind who’s behind the violence that’s mounting the tension between the Germans and the French. Mainly I found the story more about the friendship and the appreciation Sherlock and Dr. Watson carry for one another! After learning that Dr. Watson is getting married, Holmes hysterically jealous tries to talk him out of it. Dr. Watson is forced to skip his honeymoon plan in order to join his fellow! Eventually throughout the adventure they both end up saving each other’s back and protecting one another!

I bet everyone’s most likely to watch any act Robert Downey engages in, but I personally enjoyed watching him the most in the character of Sherlock Holmes! Those quick witty moments that grasp Holmes’ strength of observation and the facility to get out of an oppressive situation is cleverly entertaining as hell. The only time you don’t laugh is when events are getting intense, other than that I found this movie an entertaining adventure! Most scenes are extremely impressive! There’s a scene where Sherlock and the Dr. Watson Escape into the woods, breaking out from the bombardment. The effects used are simply breathtaking! I won’t spoil the story anymore for you, I recommend this movie, in fact I think it’s a must see movie!!
