For those who didn’t hear it yet, Brat Bird’s Mission Impossible 4 – Ghost Protocol will hit theaters on the 15th of December. Ghost protocol is written by André Nemec and Josh Appelbaum, and produced by Cruise, J. J. Abrams and and Bryan Burk.

Starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Simon Pegg as Benji, Jeremy Renner as William Brandt and Paula Patton Jane Carter, the movie is set to follow the next adventure of Ethan Hunt and his rogue new crew.

Events take place in Dubai, Prague, Moscow, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Vancouver. The Kremlin in Russia is being destroyed by a terrorist set and the blame has been put on the MIF. Hence Ethen and his team set out on a mission to fight this terrorism in order to prevent a war between Russia and the US! I won’t go further through the story lines so I don’t  ruin it for you but what I can say is that it’s a MUST see movie! I enjoyed every bit of it, there’s not a minute where you feel bored or you wish for the events to speed up because they’re quick and follow one another.

Nevertheless, I must admit that at some point I had “Oh come on!!” going through my mind. Even though the events are well presented there’s a point where you’re so much aware how fake the proceedings are being performed and how far they are from reality! Like a scene, shot in IMAX, where Tom Cruize scales the world’s tallest tower ‘Burj Khalifa’ using electronic sticky gloves only! Yes, it’s intense and probably the best scene in the movie but then again way too superficial. I felt that Ethen should turn to the camera and say: “kids, don’t try this at home”! It would’ve helped!

The sounds and music used supported the events and made them more believable. You could feel every kick, punch or any extreme scene! What I enjoyed most about this movie and what distinguishes it from the previous ones is that you get to laugh a lot. Jeremy Renner as Benji is enjoyable to watch, he’s the funny character who split the intensity bringing to it a humorous environment.

In short, book your seats, I bet it’s going to get crowded on the 15th!
